쿤 작가는 회화, 디자인, 출판, 공간, 패션, 아트토이 등 다방면에서 활동하고 있는 멀티 아티스트입니다.

2000년 시대에 대한 반항정신을 담은 첫 번째 페르소나 도깨비 소년 ‘사쿤(Sakun)’을 탄생시켰고 이것이 모든 작업의 시작이었습니다. 그 후 2013년 관계에 고민에서 시작한 두 번째 페르소나 왕의 고양이 ‘쿤캣(KunCat)’을 탄생시키며 새로운 소통을 시작하였습니다.

벤츠 스마트, SPC, 베스킨라빈스31, 파리바게트, 베어브릭(메데콤토이), HJC, ZIPPO, RedBull, 박카스(동아제약), KT, 삼익악기, 네이버, 오드리 헵번, 클래시 오브 클랜, 스타워즈, 미피, 푸마 등과 같은 글로벌 브랜드와 기업들과의 컬레버레이션을 통해 다양한 영역으로 도전해 볼 수 있었습니다.

현재 쿤 작가는 아트 스튜디오 Kun&Kunst의 DIRECTOR로 활동 중이며, 한국의 문화를 기반으로 한 작업을 기반으로 끝없는 도전을 통하여 글로벌 아티스트로 성장 중입니다.

‘Artist KUN’ is artist who is active in the culture art areas such as art, design, fashion, character, product, art toy, exhibitions, and space.

In 2000, he created his own persona, ‘SAKUN’ which was born in his own backyard, and this was the beginning of all the work. Later in 2013, he launched a new communication by creating the king’s cat ‘KunCat’.

we have been able to challenge various areas such as Mercedes Smart, SPC, Paris baguette, ZIPPO, HJC, RedBull, Bacchus, Bearbrick toys, KT, Samick music, Miffy, Audrey Hepburn, STARWAS, Clash of clans, PUMA etc.

Currently, he’s directing in Kun&Kunst Director and he’s lecturing in the Design Department of the School of Design at the University of Korea.
Today, He is growing as a global artist based on K-culture.
